My name is Christian Bissener. I discovered my passion for watches already at a very young age. Everything has started with my great-grandfathers’ pocket watch. The idea of “Watch Collector” originates on November 2009 at the Watch 2009, when I met Jochen Benzinger. I finally realized my dream in 2011, when I created my own boutique “Watch Collector”. My ambition is to satisfy my clients with a nice offer of vintage and independent timepieces, an excellent service and as well to build a long term relationship based on trust.
Mostly when I do look at my watches, it is not neccessarily to read the time, but more it is to look at the beauty of the timepiece. The small details that do make every watch a unique piece.

Dear watch aficionado.
Herewith I would like to show you a future project for a unique répétition minutes timepiece that will be build together with Grieb & Benzinger. To create this unique timepiece, a historical pocket watch movement from ca. 1890 (photos and videos here underneath) will be taken and will completely be rebuild and redesigned by Hermann Grieb and Jochen Benzinger.
The design can be completely chosen by you. For example and inspiration I do show you here underneath another unique répétition minutes that we built a while ago.
The case would be a 44mm or 45mm case.
